jars in town

I'm back and due for some serious post action!! Damn.

Kara (otherwise known as Jars on my blackberry due to the Pearl's keyboard craziness) was in town this past weekend. I'm going to share an excerpt from one of her drunken texts to me mid-week while she was entertaining clients in Half Moon Bay.

"I am drunk in half moon bay. We ard still san fran sisco tmrw. Ca ll me tmrm morn"

And later on...

"Wake me up and put me in my commute to sfo?"

I shouldn't make fun of her because it was yours truly who got a little too tipsy on Saturday. Those mojitos sure catch up on you at the Lions Den. I was trying to convince Kara (Jars) that I just needed to walk it off a little bit before we caught a cab. That lasted all of two blocks before I was put to bed with dress and panty hose still attached.

Well, lots of exciting things in the pipe. My first race of the season happens this weekend up in Napa. Then my parents come to town, just in time for the Tour of California. February is going to be everything cycling, which is perfectly fine by me.

Till next time,

kimmy

Sounds like you want a big serving of Cherry Pie this weekend. Good luck!

I am hoping to race at Hellyer on Saturday, then concentrate on getting ready for the 23rd. If we don't see you before then, we'll catch you out there at Snelling town.

Yeah, I was reading through your blog. How exciting! I was telling Sarah that I went to Trader Joe's and stocked up on choc. milk for the upcoming season. Can't wait!

Chocolate milk is always good :-)

I am finding that for us more senior riders that it is imperative to sign up as soon as registration opens; too many old guys competing for too few slots. So far I am registered for Snelling, Bariani, and Ronde von Brisbeen. And I may leave Team Unattached and fly the colors of a team.
