Lucky Duck

Called Sar-Bear this weekend to check in with my favorite gal. She was babysitting an 8 week old pup. She sent me this shot to my cell phone and I oohh'd and ahhhh'd for the rest of the afternoon. Those of you who know me well, know that I have a severe obsession with dogs. We grew up with Golden Retrievers in our household, and although I love ALL pooches, I have a strong inclination towards the 'goldies.' I have even trained my boyfriend to shout "GOLDY!!" in the car anytime we see a cute golden pass by. One of these days I hope to be a proud owner of my own pup. Guess I'll just sit here and pout for now at at those that get to cuddle with the cute little things and take in a good whiff of puppy breath!

Where the hell have I been? TiVo is the new religion! I just figured this out last weekend. I'm so last season when it comes to anything that is IN season. Soon I'll be sporting the true addict symptoms. I already have all my favs booked and set to record from the Food Network: Everyday Italian & Barefoot Contessa. Can't forget the O and Cyclism Sundays.

Since we're in the spirit of confession, I may as well also give a shout out to L-Spence for finally convincing me that mass emails are totally last year. So cheers to finally being up w/ the times. It was either that or off with my head.
